I found Dr Wickers professional but made me feel at ease. She answered all my questions and listened to my concerns, if she didn’t know the answer right then, someone from her team got back to me. She never once made me feel as if she was unreachable, which to me was invaluable.

I was so happy and reassured that my case was reviewed after my aspiration of fluid and that the time and care was taken to call me back in to check for changes prior to my radiation. I am very, very grateful for such thorough treatment and care, especially during this covid awfulness.

I was most fortunate to have Sairanne Vickers as my consultant. My first appointment gave me a lot of confidence as I was feeling debilitated having completed intensive chemo courses. Not alone was she totally familiar with my case notes but her manner was most friendly and reassuring . I was very well prepared for the radiotherapy . As I was weak , I needed a number of preparation sessions from the team. I was so pleased with their skill and care and was very well supported throughout the treatment which was very well organised. I had superb attention from the nurses and my skin healed quickly. I had a triple negative tumour so I very much appreciated the quality of care I received as I have a very positive attitude now for the future.

Although this was my first appointment with her, Sairanne made me feel completely at ease and reassured by her friendly manner. She was thoroughly informed about my recent history, surgery and treatment, which was hugely reassuring. She explained in detail the radiotherapy treatment I would receive and took all my concerns seriously. Having arrived apprehensive, I left the appointment informed, supported and encouraged.
